We’re thrilled to share that we’ll be partnering with Maryland State Delegate Alonzo T. Washington for a second year in a row to host a Holiday Coat Drive for children in our community. Our goal is to distribute 200 warm winter coats to children whose families are facing financial hardship, but we need your help.
Here’s How You Can Help!
- Bring your coat donation (NEW ITEMS ONLY PLEASE) to the Seabrook SDA Church parking lot at a designated drop-off time listed below. Please note that we are in need of coats of all sizes for children ranging from Kindergarten- 12th grade.
- Share the event with your friends and family and invite them to participate.
Coat Donation Drop-Off
Donations can be dropped off at the Seabrook SDA Church parking lot (8888 Good Luck Road, Lanham, MD 20706) at any of the times below. Volunteers will be onsite to receive your donation.

Need a Coat?
If your child is in need of a coat, we encourage you to fill out a coat request form in advance. Filling out a registration form doesn’t guarantee your child will receive a coat since coats will be distributed on a first come first serve basis, but it will help us ensure we have the right coat sizes available. You can come pick-up a free coat for your child at the Seabrook SDA Church parking lot on Sunday, December 19 at 1:00 pm. Please note that your child must be present in the car in order to receive a coat.
