Homeless Ministry

Every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month, the Homeless Ministry provides home cooked meals to various homeless shelters in Washington, D.C. During the Christmas season, we also put on a special Christmas program and lunch for our homeless friends and provide them with large gift bags of new clothing items purchased by our community. The homeless ministry is great for both young and old and is open to friends and colleagues you may want to invite.

We encourage you to give us a call at 301-577-6342 or email us at secretary@seabrooksda.org to learn how you can participate in Seabrook’s Homeless Ministry.

Prison Ministry

Church members are invited to join our Prison Ministry team to minister to those that have been incarcerated. Once a month, the Prison Ministry team travels over 350 miles to conduct worship services at the Cumberland Maximum Security Prison which at times is attended by over 30 prisoners. The team also visits local men and women prisons and halfway houses throughout the month.
